Many thanks to all - Mercy Field / Toledo Central Catholic HS, Napoleon Post 300, The Great First District of Ohio, the Department of Ohio, the umpiring crew and American Legion Baseball. I can speak only for myself, but I thought this Regional was run very well. Also the coverage of ALL games by WZOQ of Ottawa, OH was a real bonus. Thanks also to the competing teams, players, coaches, staff , families / friends for participating in American Legion Baseball.
Jim

Sunday 08/12 - Championship
+G14 - Danville Post 210-3 (37-7), Midland Berryhill Post 165-1 (43-9) - Jim's unofficial scoring
*Danville/210 (3-9-0); SP/WP-Gage Romack (Salt Fork/19; 7i[/cg, 1R/1er, 3H, 1BB, 4K - less tan 90 pitches!); 2H (Devonte Hicks (Danville/17); Ernest Plummer (Danville/18); Noah Nelson (Danville/17); Romack);
*Midland Berryhill/165 (1-4-0); SP/LP-Brandon Smith (Saginaw Heritage/18; 2R/2er, 7H, 4BB, 4K); 2nd-Jeff Allen (Clare/18; 1ip, 1R/1er, 3H, 1K); 2H (Martin Money (Midland HS/18)); 2B (Money);
*Jim's unofficial notes: Danville Post 210 clearly was ready to play two games on Sunday. While they only scored three runs they had runners at 2nd or 3rd in every inning except the fifth. Gage Romack pitched an excellent game - 4 hits and one walk - and had two hits as did Devonte Hicks, Ernest Plummer and Noah Nelson. Brandon Smith pitched six innings for Midland Berryhill allowing only two runs and stranding nine baserunners while Martin Money had two hits (double).
+G15 / Championship - Midland Berryhill Post 165-8 (44-9), Danville Post 210-4 (37-8) - eliminated - IScore (becuse Jim wouldn't wait out the rain!)
*Midland Berryhill/165 (8-8-3); SP/nd-Logan LaCourse (Bay City Western/18; 2/3ip, 3R/3er, 4H, 2BB); 2nd/WP-Jeff Allen (Clare/18; 4-1/3ip, 1R/1er, 5H, 1BB, 2K); 3rd-Seth Gower (Bay City Western/18; 2ip, 0R, 1H); 2H (Martin Money-3 (Midland HS/18); Gower); 2RBI (Tyler David (Bay City Western/18)); 2B (Gower);
*Danville/210 (4-10-2); SP/LP-Dalton Dalbey (Westville/18; 5-2/3ip, 6R/4er, 5H, 3BB); 2nd-Devonte Hicks (Danville/17; 1-1/3ip, 2R/2er, 3H, 2BB); 2H (Hicks; Chave Vinson (Oakwood/18));
*Jim's unofficial notes: Danville Post 210 came out strong in the first inning knocking out Midland Berryhill's started with three runs, four hits and two walks. A 30 minute rain delay in the second led to the exit of myself - back home! Checking in on WZOQ (Ottawa, OH) I was able to follow the end of the game in the comfort of my home.
