As far as I'm concerned both Midland Berryhill Post 165 and Gladwin Post 171 did a fine job running their respective tournaments on Thursday. The formal opening for the Class AA tournament (about 6pm) featured five players from Midland Berryhill Post 165's 2009 American Legion World Series team. It was fun to be able to get over and see Hudson's 1-0 along with two Adrian wins that were closer (I thought) than the final scores indicate.

Again - if its incorrect - I did it, but if it is right, I was just lucky!

But Adrian scored three in the seventh and two more in the eighth to give Adrian starter Phil Carel some breathing room. Matt Clark, Nick Cowen, Hunter Hayes and Michell Dempsey all had multi-hit games for Adrian. Hayden Clements pitched well for Sanford, but sanford's runs came too few and too late.
