Peter lanoo (South Vigo/13) drove in 2 runs with a fielders choice and a 2-out single, Anthony Roselli drove in the other run with a fielder's choice. Phil Carey took the loss for Adrian (Tecumseh/14, CG/7ip, 3E/2er, 8H, 1-BB, 1K) - Hunter Hayes (Adrian/13) and Eric Eldred (Tecumseh/13) had hits, Eldred with the lone RBI.

Jim's Recap - Age triunphs over youth as Chad Mayle (Midland Dow/11-Kellogg CC) outdueled Dan Sexton (Watkins Memorial/13; CG/7ip, 1R/1er, 2H, 1-BB, 8K) 1-0 in the American LegionGreat Lakes Regional. Mayle gave up 1 hit and 1 walk, and picked off base runners in each of the first three innings. Sexton's only walk came to start the fifth - to Alex Rapanos (Midland/12-Michigan State); Michael Wright (Midland/13) sacrificed Rapanos to second and following a geound out a single by Josh Moody (Alma/13) scored Rapanos.

Jim's Recap - Adrian outlasted Madison in an elimination game at American LegionGreat Lakes Regional. Phil Cowen (Tecumseh/14; 6+ip, 6R/4er?, 10H, 1-BB, 1K) started and got the win; Gage Lolley (Adrian/12-Siena Heights; 2+ip, 1R/0er, 3H, 4-BB) was next and Eric Eldred (Tecumseh/13; 1ip, 2K) got the save striking out the last two batters. Zach Furniss (La Follette/11; 4-13ip, 7R/7er, 9H, 4-BB, 1K) started and took the loss and Charles Schuster (4-2/3ip, 2E/2er, 6H, 2K) relieved and kept it close and Madison battled back. Adrian's Caleb Ebeling (Adrian/12-Central Michigan) had 3 hits and 2RBIEldred had 2 hits and 2 RBI and Tony Cappelletty (Adrian/11-Albion) had 2 RBI.
