08/06/2021 - Jim's unofficial American Legion Baseball Great Lakes Regional - 08/06/2021

Long, but I wanted to get the competing teams in the other seven (7) regionals listed - beyond the eight host teams there are no "automatic bids" and only the eight regional champions go to Shelby.  

August 6 is significant to me in three major ways -

(1) My parents were married on this date in 1946;

(2) My father was in the Philippines expecting to be part of the invasion of Japan in 1945;

(3)The first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima in 1945, leading to Japan's surrender (and my father didn't get to Japan until 1972 - as a tourist with my mother);
