*Jim's unofficial notes - Gladwin/MI Post 171 defeated MI Prime 5-1 to win the Ann Arbor / Milan FAAST tournament, Gladwin finishing 4-1 and the Prime finishing 3-2. Gladwin pitcher Owen Franklin threw a complete game 2-hitter giving up one (unearned) run, 1 walk, 1 hit batter and 12 strikeouts. Gladwin trailed 1-0 in the 4th when Trent Reed singled and scored later on Micah Irrer's based loaded walk. Gladwin took the lead in the 5th - Colin Sackrider and Addison Vallad led off the inning with walks, Carson Oldani sacrificed and Reed recieved an intentional walk to load the bases with one out; Jarrett Inscho followed with a 2-run single and Chase Raymond drove in Reed with a suicide squeeze to take a 4-1 lead. Gladwin added another run in the 7th with a lead-off single by Irrer (taking 2nd on an error on the hit) followed by a sacrifice by Blaise Millar and another suicide squeeze by Sackrider scored Irrer. (Millar earlier led off the 2nd with a double but was unable to score). Prime's starting pitcher #48/Joseph pitched well until the 5th when h was removed after three consecutive walks (1 run, 4 hits, 5 walks, 4 strikeouts). Three relief pitchers allowed 4 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks with #11/Tkaczkyk taking the loss.
