Legion Baseball regional sites approved for 2021-23

Text - The American Legion National
Executive Committee (NEC) approved American Legion Baseball regional
tournament sites for 2021-23 at the Fall Meetings, Oct. 14-15.
Resolution 28 confirms that the dates
for the regional tournaments will be Aug. 3-8, 2021; Aug.
3-7, 2022; and Aug. 2-6, 2023. Regional sites will be:
Region 1 (northeast): Shrewsbury,
Mass., 2021-23.
Region 2 (southeast): Asheboro, N.C.,
2021; Morgantown, W. Va., 2022-23.
Region 3 (south): Montgomery, Ala.,
2021; Asheboro, N.C., 2022-23.
Region 4 (central plains): Hastings,
Neb., 2021; Montgomery, Ala., 2022-23.
Region 5 (Great Lakes):
Elmhurst, Ill., 2021; Midland, Mich., 2022-23.
Region 6 (northern plains): Sioux
Falls, S.D., 2021; Rapid City, S.D., 2022-23.
Region 7 (northwest): Gillette, Wyo.,
2021-22.
Region 8 (west): Fairfield, Calif.,

game. A first-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2003,
Billingsley had a 10-year major league career and was an All-Star in
2009."

Jordan Patty - Midland/MI (Midland
Berryhill Post 165) "helped Midland, Mich., win Great Lakes
Regional titles. In 2015, he had two pitching victories, including
the 14-4, 8-inning final over host Alton, Ill. And in 2017, he hit
.545 and had two pitching victories, including a 13-1 victory over
Danville, Ill., in Napoleon, Ohio. Patty now pitches at Central
Michigan."
