07/31 - Pennsylvania American Legion State Tournament (July 27-31)

In the championship game (carried live "online" by PCNTV.com) Swoyersville Post 644 defeated  Hempfield East Post 981 2-1.  Both teams will advance to the Great Lakes Regional in Charleston, IL.  The full awards / medal ceremony was covered - not just the game.

07/31 - Pennsylvania State Tournament (hosted by DuBois/PA Post 17 - July 27-31)

Because of the number of American Legion Baseball teams registered in Pennsylvania (253), there will be two teams advancing to the Great Lakes Regional (Department (State) Champion and runnerup).
