*Jim's unofficial notes (Hudson Post 180/JR used a 3-run third inning and a 2-run second inning to pull away from Ida Post 514 in a 6-3 victory. Hudson's Carter Lamothe pitched into the sixth inning giving up two runs on four hits, five walks, three hit-batters and seven strikeouts - Christopher Hodos relieved and threw two innings (1 run, 3 hits, 1 walk, 1 strikeout) to finish the game. Nolan Adams started and took the loss for Ida giving up six runs (five earned?) on ten hits, one walk, one hit-batter and four strikeouts in four innings; Cam Mandel threw three scoreless innings in relief (1 hit, 1 hit-batter, 4 strikeouts). Jarrett Cook (2 hits, triple, double), Javier Salazar (2 hits), Lamothe (3 hits) and Ryan Lakatos (2RBI) led Hudson at the plate. Ida had three hits from Allen and singles by Mandel, Mark Keller and Cal Olmstead.)

*Jim's unofficial notes (Hudson Post 180/SR team defeated Hudson Post 180/JR team 9-2 to win the American Legion Zone 2 / Class A championship and advance to the Class A State Championships in Menominee (August 1-4). Griffin Reynard threw a complete game for the winning team, allowing two runs (both earned) on five hits, three walks, one hit-batter and five strikeouts. Christopher Hodos (who finished Hudson/JR's prior game) started and took the loss going four innings (6 runs (3 earned?), 6 hits, no walks, 1 strikeout) and Ethan Borck finished going two innings (3 runs / 2 earned?, 4 hits, 2 walks, 1 strikeout). The winning Hudson team was led by Nick Hamlin with two hits and Matt Kaufman with three hits - Blake Borck had two sacrifice bunts and a sacrifice fly in four plate appearances. Noah Benge, Liam Hardy, Trent Longbrake, Ethan Swilley and Travis Carson all had singles for the winning team. Hudson/JR was led by Dylan Smith's 2-out / 2RBI single in the sixth inning - Izaac Davis, Carter Lamothe, Ethan Borck and Hodos also had singles.)
