The 2026 Michigan American Legion Baseball State Tournaments are scheduled for this week in Adrian Michigan -
Class
A is Thursday - Saturday July 23-25 at Adrian College's Nicolay Field
(one game will be played on Saturday at Adrian HS' Nelson Family Field).
There
will be six teams in a double elimination format. The teams registered as Class A have no
national competition. The opening ceremonies will be held about 6pm on
Thursday.
The tournament MVP will be awarded the Hal Newhouser Award.
Tickets are $5 a day or $12 for a pass - cash only.
Teams:
Adrian Post 275/A (host); Kingsford Post 363 (2025 Champion); Hudson
Post 180; Stevensville Post 568; North Branch Post 457 and Breckenridge
Post 295;
Class AA is Friday - Monday July
24-28 at Adrian College's Nicolay Field - Friday is the opening ceremonies at 7pm (no game).
There
will be six teams in a double elimination format. The winning team advances to the Great
Lakes Regional in Lexington, Kentucky - winner of that regional
advancing to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, NC.
The tournament MVP will receive the Kiki Cuyler award.
The
Robert Turner Scholarship recipient and Michigan Legion Player of the
Year will be announced if the information is available at the opening
ceremonies.

Blissfield Post 325 (host); Midland Post 165 (2025 Champion); Adrian
Post 275; Bay City Post 18; Linwood Post 239; Big Rapids Post 98;
The
AA Champion will go to Lexington, KY for the Great Lakes Regional to
face State Champions from Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri
and Wisconsin in an 8-team double elimination tournament. The winner of
the Great Lakes Region will advance to Shelby, NC to face seven other
Region Champions for the American World Series Championship.
